Holiday Policy & Guidelines
Compensatory Off Policy
When a declared holiday falls on a weekend, the university may designate an alternate working day as a compensatory off. Students and staff will be notified in advance through official channels. This ensures that the academic calendar remains balanced while honoring all designated holidays throughout the year.
Restricted Holiday Availing Rules
Students may avail up to three restricted holidays per academic year based on personal or religious observance. Prior approval from the academic coordinator is required, and requests must be submitted at least 48 hours in advance. Restricted holidays cannot be combined with regular holidays or weekends without explicit permission.
Note: Holiday dates are subject to change based on government notifications and lunar calendar adjustments. Students will be informed of any modifications through official university communications.
